阳春三月，恰是春意盎然。3月21日，我校有幸请来南京大学博士马广惠教授亲临指导。学校报告厅座无虚席，甚至连走廊里都乌压压地坐满了手拿纸笔准备汲取知识营养的学生。同学们的学习情绪空前高涨。

马广惠教授是南京大学教授、博生导师，中小学英语教学的研究者、听课者、策略者。曾担任过高考命题组专家，人民教育家培养家，英语学科拔尖人才指导专家。今天，他以高考游戏规则制定者独特的视角，站在大学教授的高度，为我们高阐明高考英语的本质，揭开高考神秘又朦胧的面纱。

马教授首先强调的是单词对英语测试拿高分的重要性。“不要把时间花在对答案上，而该花在词汇短语上”“要注意每天背诵，落到实处。”通俗易懂的道理，却是实实在在的干货。值得注意的是，比起简单的记诵单词，马教授更强调一词多义、词形变化。确实，语文学习注重积累，掌握词汇，就是筑牢外语大厦的基底。

马教授其次强调了句子与句子之间的衔接与连贯。词汇组成句子，句子组成文段。不管是阅读理解还是七选五，都要注重前后文之间的连贯性与逻辑性，从主体上把握文章。作文方面，要记诵一些必要的固定句式结构、积累一些套句，尤其注重地道本土的英美句子，让自己的习作更“原汁原味”。

最令人印象深刻的，是马教授对于高考题型的独特见解。从开场以大学生参加高校自主招生的不同表现为例子，自然而然地引出了高考英语“需要套路”，但更需要“独特而自然”的套路，到表明读后续写是开放性问题，每个学生都应该有自己情节设计与独立思考，不能受制于常规框架，不拘泥于所谓范文。种种突破“应试常规”的指导，让我们明白了大学老师到底希望我们拥有怎样的英语学习能力、培养怎样的语言核心素养。

最后的同学提问环节，同学们也都踊跃举手发言，解决了自己的疑惑。

短短两个小时的讲座，既有“词汇冲刺、专项冲刺、拾遗补阙”的六字方针的思想指导，也有真题演练的实战训练，包含了全面到位的试卷题型分析，也囊括了具体的“高效节能”的高效策略，着实干货满满，令同学们受益匪浅。然而，action speak louder than words. 希望同学们也都能将马教授的教导牢记心间并落实为具体行动,在英语学科上取得突破。

今天上午，我们听了马老师的英语讲座，我们深有感触。在新高考的模式之下，词汇的占比有所提高。如今词汇是非常重要的，马老师说，只要你的词汇量达到标准，你的英语成绩就能有所提高。我们只需要掌握高中必须掌握的3000词以及大学2000词，就能取得好的成绩。然后马老师又教了我们做七选五的技巧，要根据句子与句子之间的连贯以及上下文的关键词来选择正确的选项。总之来说，我们需要提高自己的词汇量，以此来取得更好的英语成绩。

Though suffering a low-quality video at the beginning, we do absorb something useful eventually. No matter what patterns mentioned in an examination, set in a new background of a reformed college entrance examination policy, the core of them is the accumulation of vocabulary and long sentences normally used in foreign conversations，which can be introduced into our own competitions. Special attention should be paid to the internal logic of articles, the external connections and similarities between the former one and the latter one. Additionally, it is not the quantity but the quality that counts. US president Kennedy once said:“ That challenge is one we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one we are intended to win, and the others, too.”Don’t know if I have ever reached the skyline, but now I am seeking it, through my own persistence and diligence.  

高三4班 宋芯烨

Today, with the bright sunshine shining in the sky, we are filled with joy to have the opportunity to listen to a speech given by Professor Ma. As an experienced teacher, his suggestions really make sense to us. One of the most important points in his speech is that we must lay a solid foundation of English. Accumulating a large vocabulary and authentic sentences really count. What’s more, we should keep an English notebook handy for practice.

Professor Ma’s humorous speech really impressed me, giving me the motivation to learn English well.

Today,Mr. Ma, a renowned and experienced professor from Nanjing Normal University visited our school and delivered a speech about the strategies on preparing and taking an English exam.I’m really inspired by the vivid presentation.

First of all, according to Professor Ma’s speech, the key to achieve satisfying grades in English exams is enhancing our vocabulary.In doing this，we will have no difficulty in understanding the passages thoroughly,so that the questions designed for the passages will only be a piece of cake.Then,we should have a clear goal towards our exams.It is our goal that can be a strong drive for us to march forward.

So,how can we achieve our goal?Professor Ma gave some handy suggestions.To expand our vocabulary,we should attach great importance to daily accumulation,which involves words,phrases and some short sentences from passages written by native English speakers.Moreover,it is suggested that we do more work on improving the fluency and coherence of the articles we write,which is an efficient way to improve our writing.

Professor Ma’s speech is really vivid and useful.I’m very honored to be an audience of the speech.

高三7班 邓晨宇

高三英语学习最重要的是词汇，需要背3000高中课标词汇和2000大学英语词汇，以及记忆一词多义和词性行变换，这对单词拼写很重要.词汇是高中英语考试的重中之重，也是取得高分的基础和关键。

再者，在阅读，七选五中，逻辑和连贯很重要，在做题时要明确主体，圈划关键词，找出上下文之间的关联。

所以在日后的学习中要加强词汇的背诵以及对文章内在联系的理解，争取在最后的80天中有较大提升。

Today, I feel very honored to have the opportunity to listen to a speech given by teacher Ma from NNU. Mr.Ma references to several aspects about English review methods. Due to his suggestions, vocabulary is the foundation of everything .Needless to say, vocabulary is to English what air is to human. As a result, to remedy our vocabulary and writing skills, Mr.Ma emphasizes it is a necessary to prepare a notebook for practical sentences specifically which we should go over regularly.

Thanks to Ma's humorous guidance, I have learned a lot about English review methods.

在距离高考86天的备考紧张时刻，马广惠教授的讲座让我受益匪浅。在传统江苏卷受到新高考改革的教育体制改革冲击的大背景下，马教授通过对词汇，专项冲刺，查漏补缺这三个维度层面深入浅出的阐释和说明给我指明了备考的方向。词汇一直以来都是我们非常重视的一项内容，这也与马教授提出的‘3000+2000’理念不谋而合。接下来，我会继续致力于夯实课内基础，适当拓展高级词汇的教学模式。在高考难度，区分度下降的情况下，如何切实有效并且快速提高学生的成绩成了一个新的命题。对此，马教授以这次八省适应性考试成绩分析为例，给各个专项都制定了明确的目标，相信只要不断的方法改进，吸取经验，一定能找到教学的最小阻力路径，在2021年高考中获得佳绩。

I felt great honored to listen to the speech of Professor Ma. During the speech, I have learnt a lot. What impressed me most is his humor and easy-going. In the beginning, he used body languages to break the ice between us, then the interesting speech was delivered in the next two hours.

  He proposed that we should not do exercises aimlessly, and the essence of English learning is words. He emphasized the importance of words again and again to raise the awareness of us to remember words, which is helpful to improve our grades. He taught us strategies by analyzing examples to work out problems, and I think it rather useful than I expected.

  From now on, I will pay more attention to remembering words and exercise to put the strategies into practice. I am firmly convinced that my grades are bound to improve through my hard working.

高三12  肖景洋

After deliberating on what Professor Ma said today, I can come to a conclusion that vocabulary matters. It is the number of words you are not familiar with that decides the level of difficulty of an English test. We need to know what the passage means before tedding the questions. Don’t get satisfied with simply known meanings of the word because a word can have several meanings. However, memorizing words is a tough task. Be persistent and keep notes to enhance your ability.

总体而言，我结出了一个核心就是词汇。新高考的模式下，语法的比重下降，词汇变得更加重要。新高中的题型和之前有所不同，但是只要词汇量过关就可以在高考英语中取得好成绩，就像老师说的一样如果将英语试卷变成中文，那么我们的英语分数可以从原本的120变为130，甚至140。对于七选五、读后续写，就是要有思维的一个连续性，能够做到将前后文联系在一起，这样七选五和读后续写就不会差，当然还是要以词汇量为前提，只有我们有充足的词汇，我们才能立于不败之地，将上下文联系起来。

Today, brilliant sunshine casts a gentle glow on the ground. We are lucky to listen to Professor Ma’s excellent speech. With his splendid skills, he creates a relaxing atmosphere for us at the beginning. After listing an outline of the main contents, he delivers an impressive speech. It is after his accurate analysis of the whole English paper that he comes to a conclusion which lays emphasis on the significance of wide vocabulary. All of these solutions guide me to enhance my review strategy, inspiring me to keeping going and finding a better self

Having listened to speech delivered by Professor Ma, we know some effective strategies used in English exams. At the beginning of the speech, he puts forward the importance of vocabulary. It is the accumulation that matters a lot in English learning. When it comes to continuation writing, he suggests that we should recite one sentence every day. Additionally, the importance should be attached to connection between sentences.

I am deeply impressed by Professor Ma’s humorous, penetrating and far-reaching speech. Especially in terms of continuation writing, helping students accumulate abundant expressions is a significant issue which needs applying to daily English teaching. As Ma mentioned, cohesion and coherence plays a crucial part when students write the continuation writing, on which I can’t put too much emphasis when teaching. So useful are Ma’s teaching strategies that I’ve learnt a lot from them and I will deploy available resources to optimize the teaching efficiency.

3月13日，高考英语命题组专家、南京师范大学博导马文惠教授来莅临我校，就高考英语冲刺复习做具体指导，以便我们老师帮助学生高效备考。

教授首先指出备考六字方针：词汇冲刺，专项冲刺，拾遗补缺，以及三个重点：词汇、七选五与写作。就高考英语试卷逐条剖析，指出词汇积累的重要性，重点强调七选五与读后续写语篇中句子间的衔接知识与应用，以及注重应用文写作中句子的多样性。随后，教授根据高考题型分享冲刺策略。在词汇冲刺方面，要熟悉掌握3000个高中英语课标单词和2000个大学英语课标单词，可采用词表法强化单词及派生形式。在写作方面，分析研究文章衔接模式，建议背与试卷写作体裁一致、英美人写的短文，并且针对以往所犯错误，查找错误原因并加以弥补。教授也提出不必刻意地刷卷，但可以适当地做专项试卷，哪一项薄弱，重点补哪项。

在这次讲座中，我们师生都更加了解了高考试卷的命题方向，更加有针对性地进行高效复习，从而帮助学生稳步提升英语成绩。

Professor Ma’s speech was so fantastic that I really drew inspiration from it. It is a routine for him to let students recite an authentic sentence before each class, which helps them accumulate a lot of useful sentences. He also highlights that students should pay special attention to different meanings of words so that they can figure out the exact meaning of a specific word in the passage. What’s more, the importance of expanding students’ vocabulary can’t be emphasized too much. Finally, he tells students only with strategic methods and perseverance can they achieve better academic performance.

Thanks for Professor Ma. According to his humorous guidance, we are fully aware of the significance of the accumulation of vocabulary, and great importance should be attached to the thorough understanding of words, thus avoiding misunderstanding of passages. Besides, we should not do numerous sets of exercises without a clear purpose. After all, it is the right strategy and purpose that help us with better academic performance in a more efficient and effective way.
